The Perversion of Love

The streets ran dry/
Broken hearts cry/
The rains of love no longer pour/
Desert sands of hate cover the floor/
Like the mind of a psychopath we have perverted the gift of love/
Emotion is king/
Without it you would see no wedding ring/
Happiness is queen/
Without it you would see no relationships/
Sex is the language/
“Can you read my body language?”
With the sensual apparel/
Making fantasies appear real/
If love is money then we are in a recession/
Surpassing even the great depression/
Forget genuine, we would rather have the fake.

The streets ran dry/
Broken hearts cry/
The rains of love no longer pour/
Desert sands of hate cover the floor/
Forget courtship/
Recreational dating is the game/
You lose if you fall in love/
You lose if you actually love/
Winners feed their flesh/
Winners feed their lust/
So the women cry, and the men smirk/
Then the men cry, and the women smirk/
A vicious cycle on hell’s playground/
While Chilling on the devil’s backyard/
Virginity got too heavy so they just had to lose it/
Karma Sutra is their new Bible/
While sex their idol/
And multiple orgasms their gospel/
Forget genuine, will would rather have the fake.

Where the men at?
They that suffer long to feed their families/
They that bear all things and are cheerful in tragedies/
They that lead households with the organ between their ears/
And not between their legs/
Awake, all men!

Where the men at?
They that have the loving devotion similar to that of Joseph towards Mary/
They whose love never ends and is the same yearly/
They that rebuke their women with the word of God/
And not rabid mongrels that batter with rods/
Awake, all men!

Where the women at?
They that respect their bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit/
They whose love is not envious/
They that speak kind words even in grievance/
They whose love for the Lord takes precedence/
Cause only then can love make sense/
Awake, all women!

Where the women at?
They whose sexual purity surpasses even the virgin Mary/
They whose devotion to their families goes past futile fantasies/
The righteous warriors that fight with prayer and not mindless words/
They that have faith in Jesus and not emotions/
Awake, all women!

Christ is love/
In your heart he should dwell.
